Rev Dr Abraham (FOUNDER & SENIOR PASTOR)
The church was founded by Rev Dr. Abraham and his wonderful wife Joyce in 1980 right after they had moved to Delhi from the state of Kerala. The first service started with a humble beginning in their living room that has now grown into a thriving church in the heart of the city of Delhi, India. The church that was born and still is his main passion, focuses on connecting the people of Delhi and he hopes to bring many people to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Apart from being the Senior Pastor of Capital Christian Centre, Rev Dr. Abraham, is also the co-founder of an organization that has over 4000 churches, orphanages, bible colleges, schools and offices. His vision was and still is to transform the city of Delhi with the power of God and make true disciples of Jesus Christ.
Sister Joyce Abraham (FIRST LADY - PRAYER & WOMEN'S MINISTRY)
Mrs. Joyce Abraham is the backbone of not only the Abraham family but also the leading lady when it comes to the church prayer and women`s ministry. Blessed with two beautiful daughters and one handsome son, she is also a dotting grandmother to three grandchildren. Mrs. Abraham is passionate about serving the women of Capital Christian Center while equipping and encouraging them to do more for the body of Christ. She leads the “Fasting and Praying Marathon” and the “Chain Prayer” apart from the many other women’s meetings. Like her husband, her vision is to transform the city of Delhi with the power of God and make true disciples of Jesus Christ one family at a time.
Ranjit J Abraham (ASSOCIATE PASTOR)
Ranjit Abraham who has completed bachelors of engineering and masters in missions from the US in 2013, came back to India with a passion and zeal to reach the youth of Delhi. He believes that the reputation of Delhi will only rise from its labels of being unsafe, corrupt and inhumane, through the transformation and the renewing of the mind of this young generation. They are the present and hold the key to change the mindsets of the future generations. He wants to reach out to the urban youth through music, arts and creative mediums to bring change and transformation in the lives of many.
Lijin Rajan (PASTORAL CARE)
Lijin Rajan is a St. Columbus graduate, equipped with an MBA in Projects Management from Mahipal University and a BD (Bachelors in Divinity) from Faith Theological Seminary – Manakala, Kerala. His first major stint with the World Bank for the Ministry of Rural Development (GOI) has armed him with orator, translator and equipping skills. The love of Christ that transformed him into who he is today, guides him to carry this love to those who struggle with the burden of past. Opportunity to be able to set up a “Christ centric, compassionate and a connected church” is what pulled me to be a Pastoral Care Member with Capital Christian Center” says Lijin. He lives with his beautiful and supportive family in Delhi.
James Wilson (YOUTH LEADER)
I love listening to “HOLY SPIRIT” says James Wilson, who was born and brought up in the city of Ajmer. With Masters in theology from IATA and an MBA in Human Resources from the University of Sikkim, he joined Capital Christian Center as a core team member. With a passion to win people for the kingdom, he prayerfully stands in the gap for individuals, families and the people of Delhi. His desire is to impact people of this generation so that the blessings will overflow to the next. Along with his beautiful wife, the two are a brick in the Capital Christian Center foundation.
Simon Paulos (YOUTH LEADER)
Simon Paulos was born in Dehradun and brought up in Kota Rajasthan. He has done his Bachelors in Theology from New Theological College affiliated to Senate of Serampore College in Dehradun 2012. He has worked with the NGO called Compassion Project as a Coordinator and was up skilled with facilitation, management and admin skills, which have helped him in every walk of life. “Capital Christian Centre embraced me and has made me a part of their family, a loving family I have always yearned for”, says Simon. As a youth worker with the church, Simon longs for the time when everyone will be a part of the Father’s Kingdom Family.
